In East Tennessee life is a view of a wooded hillside from your windows; a place to enjoy nature and still have a sense of community. Everyone is busier than ever. The ability to live close to work, school, shopping and recreation creates more time to enjoy your family and your neighbors. McCampbell Farm was created with these needs in mind.
Inspired by classic neighborhoods from the past, traditional neighborhood design (TND) places special emphasis on the human element as opposed to the automobile. Streetscapes lined with classic homes are welcoming to the eye, with garages accessed from alley ways or pushed back off the street.

The interconnectivity of the side walks, makes every area of the neighborhood accessible by foot. There is harmony throughout, with wooded trails and open parks generating a warm and friendly feel, much like the neighborhoods of the past.

McCampbell Farm expresses a unique character that distinguishes it from conventional neighborhoods. McCampbell Farm is a place that is easy to call home at every stage of your life. McCampbell Farm contains a mix of home sizes and price ranges that is just not available in other areas. It is a place where people can walk and children can play safely on sidewalks because they are separated from the street by seven feet of tree lined green space. It is a neighborhood of boulevards wide enough to have a walking path and trees. McCampbell Farm is a traditional neighborhood of craftsman and Queen Anne style homes and condominiums that represents the best qualities of Knoxville .

When we began the design for McCampbell Farm, the specific goal was not to build a typical subdivision but to build something that would be timeless and classic. . To do this, our team of architects and engineers was given the task of combining the best ideas and styles from the historic neighborhoods in Knoxville . |
| They went to Old North, Fourth and Gill, Sequoyah Hills, Island Home, Fountain City , Fort Sanders , and North Hills. We are proud that these neighborhoods helped create the final design and style of McCampbell Farm because some have said that McCampbell Farm is the nicest neighborhood approved in Knox County in seventy-five years |
